Jacklyn has rigorously studied both DEI and accessibility during her undergraduate and graduate programs. She is extremely knowledgeable about the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) in addition to accessibility laws throughout the world. She also works in accessibility at major music festivals and concerts, providing the best experience possible to guests with disabilities. Jacklyn also worked with several major media outlets to update their style guides' terminology regarding disabilities and health to become more inclusive. She is currently working on achieving an ADA certification.
Jacklyn became well versed and advocates for service dog accessibility after adopting her own, Noodle. She is part of several groups whose mission it is to see service dog laws updated in the United States while also informing the general public and businesses of service dog laws. Noodle became the first service dog to work for many tours, concert venues, and at Walt Disney Imagineering in Walt Disney World.
